Palm Beach Gardens-based Olympus Insurance Co. is moving its headquarters to Jacksonville, where it will employ 200 people, JAXUSA Partnership announced Aug. 8 at its quarterly lunch.

JAXUSA Partnership is the economic development division of JAX Chamber.

Olympus lists at least 10 career openings in Jacksonville, including controller, director of reinsurance, systems/cloud administrator, staff accountant, and positions in underwriting and policy services.

The postings say the positions will be remote until the Jacksonville headquarters is complete. No address was announced or provided.

“In anticipation of the Olympus headquarters relocation in November 2022, you will work remotely until the Jacksonville, Florida headquarters is operational, at which time you will be required to work on site,” says the posting for the full-time underwriting team lead.

The olympusinsurance.com site says the company offers Florida homeowners, condo, townhouse and landlord/rental insurance as well as for dwellings under construction and scheduled personal property coverage, which is more protection for luxury assets like jewelry, art, furs and other upscale holdings.

It offers flood insurance through an insurance partner.
