The official groundbreaking for the Newman Student Housing student housing complex was Tuesday.
The faith-based student housing community that should be completed by next fall at 11277 Alumni Way near the University of North Florida.
The first phase is a three-story, 204-bed project that will provide 69 apartment units for students and three residential assistant units. A second phase will include another 158 beds. The ministry is provided by the Catholic Church. Leasing could start later this year.
