RNC Host Committee releases list of registered vendors

More than 1,000 local businesses want to provide their products and services at the Republican National Convention.

The Republican National Convention Jacksonville Host Committee notified about 1,000 businesses July 15 that they are listed on the committee's website as vendors for the convention.

Categories comprise accommodations, corporate services, entertainment, event services, floral design, health and safety, printing and signage, retail and promotional products, transportation, venues and miscellaneous.

According to the committee's website, more than 125 of the registered businesses are owned by veterans, nearly 200 are minority-owned and more than 300 are owned by women.

Twenty-one hotels, motels and short-term rentals are featured on the list, along with 25 corporate services providers and 49 entertainers.

More than 150 event service providers are listed, as are nearly 200 restaurants, caterers, lounges and food trucks.

Nearly 200 providers of retail and promotional products submitted applications along with nearly 80 printing and sign companies.

The miscellaneous category has nearly 200 businesses listed, including moving companies, Realtors and the Jacksonville Bar Association.
