The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village recently celebrated the arrival of the community’s 300th family — Gerry Herron Jr., his wife Amy and their three-year-old son, Gerry III.

OakLeaf Plantation, which will be the largest residential community ever developed in Northeast Florida, announced that pre-sales have begun inside the community.
OakLeaf Plantation is currently emerging on 6,400 acres in the Argyle Forest area of southwest Jacksonville, with access via Old Middleburg Road (which has been renamed OakLeaf Plantation Boulevard) off Argyle Forest Boulevard; and the new Brannan Field Chaffee Road.
The community is being developed by the Jacksonville-based Hutson Companies.

Heavy rain didn’t deter the more than 100 REALTORS® who attended a luncheon at Skylark Ridge on Sept. 24 hosted by Richard R. Dostie New Home Collection. It’s a community of 35 homesites located off Losco Road.
On display was the Buena Vista model home, a 2,940-square foot, two-story home with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and a large second floor bonus room that could serve as a fifth bedroom.
Located in a natural setting surrounded by lakes and conservation areas, Skylark Ridge offers 1/3 acre homesites with 22 spacious floor plans to choose from with homes priced from the $230s to $300s.

Ryland Homes, one of Florida’s largest homebuilders, has started construction of The Keystone, its first luxury model home in the Jacksonville area.
Jeff Agar, division manager for Ryland in Jacksonville, said the Keystone model home should open early next year at Oakbrook, an exclusive neighborhood of 15 homes at Oakleaf Plantation.
The four bedroom, two bath home will offer 2,399 square feet of living space including a home office and an optional “tea room” media center, Agar said.

Stonewood — a neighborhood located in the King & Bear at the World Golf Village — sold out in 48 hours.
The neighborhood’s seven homesites were priced from $72,500-$80,000 and included membership to World Golf Village’s two golf courses. The lots are 70 feet wide and an average of 150 feet deep.
