Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Northeast Florida Builders Association played host to 483 members, family and friends at a special event to install officers, present awards and take a look back at the organization’s eventful history.
NEFBA’s 60th Anniversary Installation and Awards Banquet was held last month, at the Adams Mark Hotel in Jacksonville.
Emmett Reed from the Florida Home Builders Association was emcee for the event that included a multi-media review of landmarks in NEFBA’s history with clips and music from each decade.
In a pre-recorded presentation, local television personality Terry Casey assumed the role of a news anchor, and disc jockey Arthur Crofton played tunes from each decade as part of the evening’s entertainment, beginning with the 1940s, when the association marks its beginning.
