Drees building at North Campus

Drees Homes has broken ground on its new model in the community of North Campus.

Located on North Campus Boulevard, just off Dunn Avenue, North Campus has 79 wooded and cul-de-sac homesites. Priced from the $200’s, Drees is offering five new floorplans ranging from 1,500 to over 2,100 square feet.

Currently under construction, Drees’ model at North Campus is the Golden Isle, a 1,859-square-foot, four-bedroom, two-bath design.

Ryland has big giveaway

Ryland Homes in the Jacksonville region plans to give away a $40,000, 2007 Lexus RX 350 to a lucky prospective homebuyer who visits any Ryland Homes sales office in the region before September 30. 

 Jeff Agar, division president for Ryland Homes in the Jacksonville area said Ryland sales office visitors need not buy a home to enter the sweepstakes drawing, which will be held Oct. 6. 

Sales office visitors should consult a sales associate to obtain entry forms, Agar said.

Ryland’s Jacksonville region includes single family and town home developments in Bartram Springs, Biscayne Bay, Doctors Inlet, Northwoods and Westfield Village in Jacksonville, Kensington and Sevilla in St. Augustine.

 

Cade’s Cove closing fast

Home buyers in Orange Park have only a few opportunities left to own a new Mercedes Home at Cade’s Cove. The home builder reports that 10 home sites remain inside the community off Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park. The homes are priced from the mid-$200,000s.

At Cade’s Cove, Mercedes Homes offers its French Country and Craftsman-style homes. These seven designs range in size from 1,780 to 3,753 square feet of living space and include up to five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Many plans feature amenities such as game rooms or lofts and covered porches or sunrooms. 

Cypress Trace opens clubhouse

Centex Homes’ Cypress Trace, located in St. Johns County on U.S. 1 and Race Track Road, now has a Residents’ Club.

“Many homeowners are looking for an enjoyable, active community with minimal maintenance, said Carl Holman, Operational Marketing Manager for Centex Homes North Florida Division.  “With the opening of the Residents’ Club, our homeowners now have access to the swimming pool, covered picnic areas and a perfect place for entertaining within steps of their homes.”

Additional community amenities include a cabana, tot lots, two lighted tennis courts and walking trails. 

Starting at $183,990, the Crossings at Cypress Trace offers 218 townhome condominiums.  Featuring three floorplans, each includes private attached single-car garages with direct entry, interior laundry rooms and kitchens including Whirlpool appliances, home security system, double-pane insulated windows and ceramic tile flooring in kitchen, foyer and baths. 

Cypress Trace features three fully-furnished model homes, one for each floor plan.  The 1,268 square-foot Prescott model has two bedrooms and two-and-one-half baths, the Addison has 1,468 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and two-and-one-half baths, and the Abby has 1,607 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and two-and-one-half-baths.

Architects named for new project

Wakefield Beasley & Associates Architects has been engaged to design and provide construction documentation for Harbortown, a mixed-use office and retail project off Atlantic Blvd. at the Intracoastal Waterway.  

Michael W. Brown, managing director of Wakefield Beasley & Associates in Jacksonville, said Julian LeCraw and Company of Atlanta is developing the 8,000 square foot facility.

Brown said potential tenants will include medical and other professional offices, and a café will be an initial retail tenant.   Brown said the project will eventually include townhomes, condominiums and a marina.

Morrison has OakLeaf model

Morrison Homes recently unveiled a new townhome model in its Briar Oaks neighborhood in OakLeaf Plantation. The opening of the new model also marks the release of several homes for immediate move-in in the gated townhome community.

The new Juniper model features 1,561 square feet of living space, three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths gracefully arranged in a two-story design. It has a one-car garage, a covered patio and is priced from the high-$170s.

In addition to the Juniper, buyers may select from Morrison Homes’ 1,593-square-foot Aspen or 1,805-square-foot Laurel floor plans.
