Moving into their fourth year of business, Merchandising Plus showcased their creativity once again by dominating the design portion of the 2006 Laurel Awards and winning two of the four interior merchandising awards. The first for the Engle Homes Lexington Model Showhome at Caney Branch and the second for Standard Pacific Homes Biscayne Model Showhome at Eagle Landing.
The third Laurel award was for their beautiful corporate brochure “From Inspiration to Installation.” It was a market-driven brochure that was produced by Media Works to showcase the model and resort interiors created by this nationally acclaimed design group.
The fourth Laurel award won was a team effort for the architectural design produced by Bloodgood, Sharpe Architects, Standard Pacific Homes and The Merchandising Plus team for Standard Pacific’s Casa Tierra Model Showhome in the Grand Community of Palencia.
“We had a marvelous evening at the Laurel Awards and I am so proud of our team, our clients and suppliers,” said Rita Williams, a member of The Florida Housing Hall of Fame and owner of Merchandising Plus. It is a testament to everyone’s dedication to meet client’s expectations while enhancing their customer’s vision for creativity, quality and design.
It has been a great three and a half years of business for Williams and her marvelous design team of Terry Duguid, Kate Schmidt, Sharon Blank, Lisa Gielincki and Lisa Lapkovitch. They have been honored with over 60 design awards over the last three years; winning Aurora Awards, Excel Awards, Laurel Awards, National Sales and Marketing Council Awards and The Best in American Living Awards.
“Our builders and developers along with their architectural and marketing teams gave us the opportunity to do what we do best showcasing their homes, clubs and resorts. We love helping take the entire build-design-marketing team to the winner’s circle of the prestigious Laurel Awards.”
