∙ Robert Parrish of Moseley Prichard Parrish Knight & Jones; Michael Tanner of Tanner Bishop; and David Wells of Gunster have been inducted as fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a professional society of experienced trial lawyers. They were inducted on March 9 in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the college’s 2012 spring meeting. The three were among 69 lawyers from 32 states, the District of Columbia and three Canadian provinces who were inducted.
∙ Florida Coastal School of Law and the American Immigration Lawyers Association will celebrate the Fifth Annual Citizenship Day on Saturday by helping legal permanent residents in the Northeast Florida community apply to become U.S. citizens. The Jacksonville event is coordinated by Florida Coastal School of Law, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and The Jacksonville Bar Association. About 40 pro bono attorneys and dozens of law students will assist applicants with their forms to take the next step toward naturalization. It will take place 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Florida Coastal.
∙ Jennifer Shoaf Richardson has joined the appellate boutique firm of Creed & Gowdy in Jacksonville. Richardson comes to the firm after spending three years at Florida’s First District Court of Appeal serving as a law clerk to Judge Peter Webster and Judge Simone Marstiller.
