• John Clifford succeeds Wayne Harubin as CEO of Coastline Federal Credit Union. Coastline, which celebrated its 75th year of operations in 2011, was founded to serve Atlantic Coast Line Railroad employees, then became a full-service community credit union in 2003 with membership open to anyone in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties.

• The Mayor’s Economic Development Compliance Task Force will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Conference Room 2C on the second floor of City Hall. Topics include an overview of Sunshine Law compliance, the history and current state of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission structure and budgets and the Council Auditor’s Office overview of the JEDC audit. The public is invited to attend.

• Ernst & Young LLP requests nominations for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Awards. The deadline for applications is March 9.

• Jacksonville-based Availity reported that it became the first health information network to achieve Common Security Framework certification from the Health Information Trust Alliance. Availity said that achieving the certification, a security benchmark for health care organizations in the United States, enhances its ability to lower costs for its customers by reducing their need to conduct third-party audits, while at the same time reducing the risk of security and privacy breaches.

• Public Defender Matt Shirk has chosen Joe Jacquot, senior vice president of Lender Processing Services, to serve a three-year term on the Jacksonville Ethics Commission upon confirmation by Jacksonville City Council. Before joining LPS in May, Jacquot was the Deputy Attorney General of Florida from 2007-10. Shirk has one appointment to the commission.

• Gov. Rick Scott has reappointed James Schock to the Florida Building Commission for a term that began Wednesday and ends Jan. 12, 2015. Schock is Jacksonville’s building inspections chief. The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

• The Jacksonville Aviation Authority’s Cecil Airport has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration Southern Region’s 2011 General Aviation Airport Safety Award for its efforts in safety.

• Also, just in case you missed it, the JAA issued a reminder that CNN’s Erin Burnett gave Jacksonville International Airport “a rave review after visiting our city for the Republican National Debate last week.” She claimed JAX as “America’s Best Airport.” Visit www.flyjacksonville.com and search keyword Erin Burnett.
