Jacksonville-based Access PR, a local public relations and strategic communications firm that started in 2004, has merged with the Tampa-based Tucker/Hall public relations and public affairs firm and will change its name to Tucker/Hall.

Access PR co-founder and principal John Finotti joins Tucker/Hall as vice president, a shareholder and a member of the company’s board of directors. He will continue to manage the Jacksonville office, which is located Downtown.

Access co-founder Marty Fiorentino, president of The Fiorentino Group, joins Tucker/Hall as a shareholder.

“This merger greatly benefits all of our clients in Jacksonville and North Florida,” Finotti said in a news release. He said Tucker/Hall has a team of public relations counselors and additional resources that will offer expanded communications services in North Florida.

Tucker/Hall was founded in 1990 to focus on providing strategic communications, public affairs and crisis management. The firm represents clients in Florida and the United States, as well as some

overseas.

“We’ve partnered with Access on a number of client projects over the years and have always been highly pleased with the project results and working relationship,” said Tucker/Hall President Bill Carlson in the release.

Carlson said the firms “are a perfect fit, and this merger is the right avenue in expanding our business in North Florida, which has been a goal for us.”

Tucker/Hall works with Fortune 500 corporations, fast-growing companies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
