The first Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs tailgaters began showing up last week. At 8 a.m. the gates to RV City near EverBank Field opened and, little by little, the recreational vehicles, coaches and trailers began to fill the lots. Spots were assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, though some fans tried to get a jump on the competition by sending friends and family to squat on a choice location. Each space cost $125 per day and there are several events planned in the days leading to the 3:30 p.m. Saturday kickoff between the two rival schools.
