After the Franklin Street commercial real estate brokerage company moved to the Bank of America Tower on the Northbank, Corey Hasting opened a sixth Engel & Völkers Jacksonville real estate office at 1611 Atlantic Blvd. in San Marco near the Southbank.

Hasting, the area Engel & Völkers broker/owner, opened the 2,900-square-foot office Oct. 11.

“We chose this location for our latest expansion in Northeast Florida because San Marco is the perfect location for our brand,” Hasting said.

The building is owned by CLDG HQ Holdings LLC, led by Corner Lot CEO Andy Allen and COO George Leone, which paid $335,000 for the building in July 2018.

Corner Lot moved there in 2019 from leased space along Hendricks Avenue. After Corner Lot relocated its offices to Riverside, Franklin Street moved there in April 2021 from Belfort Parkway,

“We already have a lot of advisers who live and sell in that area and this additional shop location will help all of us service our customers even better,” Hasting said.

He noted the exposure of “being almost in the heart of San Marco Square and across from the new Publix shopping center.”

Publix Super Markets Inc. opened Aug. 11 to anchor the new East San Marco shopping center at Hendricks Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard.

Hasting bought the Engel & Völkers franchise rights to Jacksonville in late 2017.

The company website says Hasting opened the first shop in Jacksonville Beach on April 30, 2018.

The company says it has offices in Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, Amelia Island and Saint Johns.

Franklin Street leases temporary space on the 21st floor in the 42-story Bank of America Tower at 50 N. Laura St. and will move into 4,200 square feet that will be built-out on the 16th floor.

It’s an expansion from the space it leased in San Marco.
