Publix Liquors in eTown Village Center issued build-out permit

The city issued three permits in March for to build the supermarket nearby.

The city issued a permit Sept. 16 for the build-out of Publix Liquors near the Publix Supermarkets Inc. store in eTown.

Hawkins Construction Co. of Tarpon Springs is the contractor for the $142,800 build-out of 2,100 square feet of space at 11025 eTown Parkway, No. 200, in eTown Village Center.

The city issued three permits March 9 for Hawkins to build the Publix Super Markets store, the facade and another retail building at eTown for $7.95 million.

Two permits comprise the $6 million, 48,848-square-foot Publix building and the $650,000 grocery facade and 2,100-square-foot retail shell for the Publix Liquors store.

The PARC Group announced Aug. 16, 2021, that Publix, with a drive-thru pharmacy, will open in early 2023.
