Merritt Properties announced Sept. 27 that it signed Loomis US as its first tenant at Imeson Landing Business Park in North Jacksonville.
It said Loomis will lease 29,000 square feet to expand local operations.
Loomis provides cash handling products and services to financial institutions and commercial and retail businesses nationwide.
Imeson Landing is at Imeson Park Boulevard and Zoo Parkway.
It will comprise five light industrial buildings from 39,000 to 69,000 square feet in size.
The first three buildings will be ready this fall.
Merritt Properties is a commercial real estate developer with offices in Florida, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia.
Loomis US is an integrated cash distribution network with nearly 200 locations across the country that provide cash-handling products and services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial businesses.
Merritt Properties said the new facility at Imeson Landing Business Park will allow Loomis to expand its services in the Jacksonville market.
Loomis US has nearly 200 branch locations, 10,000 employees, more than 3,200 vehicles and more than 46,000 SafePoint locations serviced.
