In a significant organizational restructuring to position the company for the future, Founder and CEO of Riverplace Capital Management, Inc., (Riverplace
Capital) Peter Bower announced the formation of a new executive management team comprised of Scott Wohlers and Mark Ross, promoted to Co-President. Mr. Bower
announced these changes to position the company for growth.
In his new role as Executive Chairman, Mr. Bower will also remain the company’s CEO and Chief Investment Officer.
He will continue to oversee the business and remains the head of the Investment Committee. Peter has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Active in the north Florida community, he has served on the Executive Committee of The Board of Directors for The Museum of Contemporary Art-Jacksonville and The Florida Ballet and was a mayoral appointee to the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) Board.
Mr. Ross will oversee Wealth Management & Family Office services for Riverplace Capital. In this newly created role, he will work with high-net-worth individuals to provide tailored services to meet their individual needs.
Mark has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Delta Academy, a Charter School for at-risk children.
He also served on the Board of Directors for Dreams Come True and has been very active with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Jacksonville.
Mr. Wohlers will continue to oversee the growth of the organization as well as oversee the marketing and business development of the firm.
He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Scott has served as President of the San Marco Merchants Association and is currently the Treasurer for Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center.
