Starbucks Coffee expanding, renovating at multiple area sites

Starbucks Corp. is busy with projects estimated at more than $2.5 million.

• Starbucks is converting a former Wendy’s at 14447 Beach Blvd. for a Starbucks Coffee shop.

The city is reviewing a permit application for the project, estimated at a construction cost of $1.33 million. R.E. Crawford Construction is shown as the contractor.

The 3,212-square-foot building will be redesigned as 2,873 square feet with inside seating for 51 and patio seating for 20.

The 1.2-acre site is east of San Pablo Road. 

• Starbucks is renovating its shop at 9661 San Jose Blvd. at Old St. Augustine Road.

The estimated $350,000 project will renovate 1,717 square feet of space.

• Starbucks plans a 2,827-square-foot restaurant on about an acre at northeast Beach and Kernan boulevards.

A JEA service availability report shows a Starbucks and drive-thru with 46 inside seats and 30 patio seats.

CPH LLC is the civil engineer.

The site is next to the Tamaya Market shopping center anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market and is near the Shipley Do-Nuts shop. 

• The city is reviewing a permit application for Starbucks to renovate and expand at 13315 Atlantic Blvd. at an estimated $475,000.

The shop will expand into neighboring space.

• Starbucks wants to renovate its shop at 8635 Blanding Blvd., No. 24, at an estimated cost of $350,000. The project is 1,540 square feet.
