Wells Landing, a community of 218 one- and two-story single-family homes, is under development about 5 miles west of Naval Air Station Jacksonville.

The community entrance is on the south side of Morse Avenue about 0.8 miles east of Blanding Boulevard.

Wells Landing is part PulteGroup’s Centex brand. Prices are expected to start in the $300,000s. The 1,590- to 2,782-square-foot homes will be built on 50-foot lots. The neighborhood is 43 acres.

The homes will feature an open-concept design. Owner’s suites include a bathroom within the suite.

The community will have no community development district fees and low homeowners association fees, PulteGroup said in a news release.

Preliminary drawings show two small park areas within the community.

“Wells Landing will offer affordably-priced homes with exceptional value to help more homebuyers realize the dream of homeownership,” Justin Dudley, vice president of land acquisition for PulteGroup’s Northeast Florida Division, said in the release.

“Our Centex brand offers high-quality homes with included features that are designed to meet the needs of first-time buyers.”

The Centex brand offers a 10-year homebuilder warranty.

There will be six home designs. Construction of models is underway. They will be open in late summer.

Home sales will begin in August or September.
