St. Johns County approved a permit for Bala’s Pizza to build-out in the Silverleaf master-planned community.
It will be the restaurant’s second location.
The county issued a permit May 7 for Jacksonville-based The Herron Group to build the 1,473-square-foot space at 60 Silver Forest Drive, Suite 111, at a job cost of $166,000. It is in Silverleaf Commons.
Jacksonville-based Lane Architecture is the architect.
It will be between QT Nails & Spa and national chain V’s Barbershop.
Site plans state an occupancy of 34.
Bala’s opened its first location in 2022 at 164 Everest Lane, Suite 4, in Saint Johns at the Promenade at Bartram Springs shopping center.
The St. Johns County-based fast-casual pizzeria says it makes its dough “twice daily while providing great customer service,” according to its website.
Other menu items include buffalo wings, garlic knots, stromboli and calzones.
