Fore Score Golf Tavern in San Marco has closed after four years of operation.
The operators of the tavern at 1407 Atlantic Blvd. posted on social media that they had opted not to renew their lease and would cease operations after service on the weekend of Aug. 1-2.
“This allows us to focus our energy in our Gate Parkway location and the exciting possibilities that lie ahead for Fore Score,” the post read. “As a result, this weekend will be our final weekend serving this incredible community. “
The tavern opened in August 2022, bringing four bays of golf and game simulators to San Marco Square. Golfers could use the simulators to measure swing speeds, distance and other data, while guests could also play simulated baseball, basketball, soccer and other sports.
In 2025, Fore Score opened its second location, at 7570 Gate Parkway, Suite 101.
Spouses Daniel and Kerrie Hileman started the Fore Score concept with partner Andy Allen, cofounder and CEO of Jacksonville-based real estate development company Corner Lot.
