Owners plan to open The Floridian restaurant in its new location in early June, according to a news release.

After closing at 72 Spanish St. in 2025, the restaurant is moving to 485 Old Beach Road in St. Augustine Beach near Florida A1A and Florida 312. The site is about a mile south of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

According to the release, the newly constructed 4,000-square-foot space will provide seating for 120 customers. Indoor and outdoor dining will be available, as well as a private dining space and an outdoor courtyard.

The restaurant will include a full bar and quick-order bar window. Parking will be free.

The release said the opening date is to be determined.

Owners Genie and Jeff McNally started The Floridian on Cordova Street in 2010 before moving to Spanish Street five years later.

“This new building is just the next chapter, where we’ll continue to focus on what matters – fresh ingredients, good food and top-notch hospitality,” Jeff McNally told the Daily Record in a March 20, 2025, story announcing the plan to move to Old Beach Road.

Genie McNally is The Floridian’s executive chef. She will continue to serve a farm-to-table-themed menu, the release said.

The McNallys also own Bea’s Fine Foods at 9 Anastasia Blvd. On June 3, that restaurant will begin serving lunch only.

The new hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
