John Reyes, former president and CEO of Visit Jacksonville, begins a new position next week as executive vice president and chief customer officer at the San Francisco Travel Association. Reyes left Jacksonville in March 2010 to become president and CEO of the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau, about 100 miles south of San Francisco. He is returning to where his career in hospitality began. Reyes graduated from San Francisco State University and worked in the area as a hotel desk clerk and tour guide before joining sales.
