• Gov. Rick Scott will do a “Let’s Get to Work Day” in Jacksonville, but it hasn’t been decided when and where, said press secretary Lane Wright. Wright said Monday the office received more than a dozen requests from Jacksonville for Scott to spend a day doing a job. Scott started the days Aug. 3 in Tampa at a doughnut shop. Wright said Scott plans at least one a month. Wright didn’t have the information available about the Jacksonville requests, although the Jacksonville Port Authority reports it issued one of them.
