The Northeast Florida Builders Association named Jessie Spradley, director of government affairs and deputy executive officer, as its next executive officer. \

Spradley joined NEFBA in 2013 as director of government affairs. He worked with state and local representatives to further NEFBA initiatives.

Greg Matovina served in the interim role since November, when former NEFBA Executive Officer Bill Garrison left the role.

Spradley oversees the government affairs, political action, codes and compliance committees, industry issue fund, Clay and Nassau builders councils and NEFBA young professionals.

He was part of a team that formed the association’s Emerging Leaders Program.

Before his role with NEFBA, he was an aide to Florida Rep. Charles McBurney.
