Fields Auto Group paid almost $76 million for the Jacksonville properties it bought from Brumos Automotive in a sale announced in December.

Seven large Duval County deeds were executed April 1 and recorded Tuesday for the Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Porsche dealerships and related operations previously owned by privately held Brumos.

Fields bought the Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Porsche dealerships along Atlantic Boulevard in Arlington, as well as a collision center and service garage.

It also bought the Mercedes-Benz and Lexus dealerships along Blanding Boulevard in southwest Jacksonville near Orange Park.

The properties were sold by Brumos Motor Cars Inc. and S.D.S. Autos Inc. to entities operated by Fields.

In announcing the sale in December, Brumos President and CEO Charlie Tomm said the transition should be “almost seamless” for customers and employees.

Fields Auto Group, based in Chicago with operations in Winter Park, already owned the Land Rover and Jaguar dealerships in Jacksonville and Cadillac dealerships in Orange Park and St. Augustine.
