Real estate industry news: LandSouth expanding HQ; Richmond American building at TrailMark

LandSouth Construction announced it is expanding its Jacksonville corporate headquarters at 4233 Pablo Professional Court north of Mayo Clinic.

The company plans to add 5,000 square feet of workspace comprising 21 offices and 10 cubicles.

The project is expected to be completed by September.

LandSouth is a general contractor that specializes in multifamily, senior living and mixed-use development.

LandSouth said its business has grown more than 35 percent in the past three years and it plans to hire 20 additional workers this year.

“This addition will allow us to grow into the office and bring every headquarters’ team member under one roof which will increase collaboration and communication so we can better serve our clients,” said James Pyle, LandSouth Construction president and CEO in a news release.

Richmond American building at TrailMark

Richmond American Homes is building in the TrailMark community in St. Johns County, GreenPointe Communities LLC announced in a news release.

Richmond American is offering three- to five-bedroom floor plans from 2,100 square feet to more than 2,900 square feet. Homes are priced from the upper $200,000s.

 TrailMark is off Pacetti Road about 6 miles south of Interstate 95.

Other TrailMark builders include D.R. Horton, Dream Finders Homes, Lennar, MasterCraft Builder Group and Providence Homes.

Berkshire Hathaway ranked No. 23

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty was honored among the top 25 affiliates in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network at the company’s annual convention in Las Vegas.

 The Northeast Florida real estate firm ranks No. 23 nationally based on total gross commission income. 

 “Our achievement is directly correlated to the commitment and contributions of our Realtors, employees and leadership team, and we appreciate all they have done to help us achieve this level of success,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty President and CEO Christy Budnick in a news release.

Realtors Anita Vining and Tansy Moon also were recognized with Legend awards.

Vining of the San Marco office was honored with a 20-year award and Moon of the Beaches office received the five-year award.
