Restaurant notes: Bonchon to Beach Boulevard, La Nopalera to River City Marketplace

Bonchon, specializing in Korean-style fried chicken, is adding a second location in Jacksonville.

With its first open at The Strand at Town Center,  the second is proposed at 13423 Beach Blvd., at Beach and Hodges boulevards, in space vacated by Pancheros Mexican Grill.

The city is reviewing a permit application for a $40,000 project to convert the space.

La Nopalera to River City Marketplace

The city is reviewing a permit application for Ashco Inc. to build-out space for a 2,902-square-foot La Nopalera Restaurant at 725 Skymarks Drive. The cost is shown at $135,000. 

Chick-fil-A at River City Marketplace

Chick-fil-A Inc. intends to renovate its River City Marketplace restaurant at 14020 Lunar Drive.

Venture Construction Co. is the contractor for the almost $2.2 million project and an addition to include a brand image remodel, midline kitchen, multilane order point and canopy system.

Starbucks in St. Johns

St. Johns County approved construction work for two Starbucks Coffee Co. shops.

Starbucks will build-out a 2,250-square-foot space at 935 Durbin Pavilion Drive, Suite 105, in The Pavilion at Durbin Park at a cost of $275,000. It will remodel a 1,562-square-foot space at 105 Fireworks Alley at a cost of $225,000.
