McDonald’s USA LLC is taking steps to build a new restaurant at Boulevard Crossing, the retail center under development at northwest Beach and University boulevards in front of the closed Kmart.

McDonald’s wants to relocate its existing restaurant on the site. The city is reviewing the concurrency plans.

More restaurant notes:

Dunkin’ Donuts in Keystone Heights: Dunkin’ Donuts intends to open a 1,800-square-foot doughnut and coffee shop at 101 W. Walker Drive in Keystone Heights in Clay County.

A gas station and convenience store will be demolished for construction.

Kwik Trip Oil Co. Inc. is the property owner. EnVision Design + Engineering LLC is the civil engineer.

The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans.

Island Wing Co. in Southside: Island Wing Co. was approved for a $450,000 renovation to take over the former TGI Fridays at 4409 Southside Blvd.
