Publix Super Markets Inc. plans a 48,400-square-foot store on an 8.55-acre site at 855 County Road 210 W. in Beachwalk.
PEBB Beachwalk Grocery LLC bought the property July 10 for $2.75 million from 210 South Development LLC. The deed states there is a lease agreement with Publix.
PEBB Enterprises announced July 22 that it will start site work immediately on the Publix-anchored center.
It will include 10,500 square feet of additional in-line retail space for other tenants.
The site is directly across the street from the 3,000-acre Beachwalk residential and commercial community with the 14-acre Crystal Lagoon.
Also, St. Johns County approved permits for interior renovations for two Publix Super Markets stores in St. Augustine. The permits are a $625,000 remodel at 955 Florida 16 and a $575,000 renovation at 84 Tuscan Way.
