Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Co. continues to build-out around the area. Among the most recent plans:

In Baymeadows Park, the city issued a permit for a $275,000 build-out of 2,500 square feet of shell space at 9379 Baymeadows Road. It’s a stand-alone building with a drive-thru.

In Boulevard Crossing, Starbucks applied for a building permit and a certificate of use for a 2,235-square-foot coffee shop at 5753 Beach Blvd., Unit 1, to seat 43 inside and 28 on the patio. No contractor is listed for the estimated $275,000 project. It appears to be an end unit. Starbucks now leases an inline space across the street.

In Saint Johns, St. Johns County issued a permit for Starbucks to build-out a 3,470-square-foot coffee shop and drive-thru at 495 Florida 13 N. at a cost of $190,000.  The building is a former Burger King on 0.93 acres in the Fruit Cove area.

In the Lakewood area, the city is reviewing a building-permit application that indicates a $500,000 project of 2,553 square feet at 5640 San Jose Blvd. The site is a closed Shell gas station. Starbucks will have a patio and drive-thru. An in-line Starbucks operates across the street.

Starbucks has been building stand-alone units or others that allow for a drive-thru to replace inline shops.
