Development notes: FIS wins permit for new HQ, Self-Help Credit Union to River City Marketplace

The St. Johns River Water Management District issued a permit April 7 for Fidelity National Information Services Inc.’s world headquarters on 4.87 acres along Riverside Avenue.

FIS submitted permit plans to the city April 15 for construction of its $145 million, 12-story, 376,414-square-foot office tower and eight-story, 552,693-square-foot parking garage at 347 Riverside Ave.

The Water Management District permit is for the construction and the operation of a stormwater management system.

Self-Help Credit Union to North Jacksonville

The city approved a permit April 16 for Breaking Ground Contracting to build a 2,353-square-foot  building on 1.05 acres at 13134 Wolf Bay Drive for Self-Help Credit Union at a cost of $800,000.

The site, at northwest Airport Center and Wolf Bay drives at River City Marketplace, will include a drive-up ATM and video teller. Self-Help Credit Union is based in Durham, North Carolina. 

Cardinal Health to Westlake

The city approved a permit April 17 for Becknell Services LLC to make tenant improvements for  Cardinal Health at 12075 Pritchard Road in Westlake Industrial Park at a job cost of $2.3 million.

Cardinal Health Corporate Communications Manager Erica Lewis said previously the new site will be operational in July.

Becknell developed the 185,686-square-foot warehouse building last year. Cardinal Health intends to relocate its West Jacksonville medical products distribution center from Perimeter West Industrial Park into a larger building in Westlake Industrial Park.
