Scrubbles 3 Minute Express Wash will soon take shape in the Atlantic North shopping center.
The city is reviewing permit applications for Scrubbles to build a car wash, pay canopy and a dumpster enclosure at 11991 Atlantic Blvd. at a cost of $690,000.
Atlantic North Scrubbles Express Wash LLC of Tifton, Georgia, is the owner.
The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans for a retail store by Concept Development Inc.at southwest South 14th and Lime streets in Fernandina Beach in Nassau County.
The proposed 10,810-square-foot building is planned on 1.19 acres. Gillette & Associates Inc. is the civil engineer.
No retail name is identified, but Concept Development builds Dollar General stores.
The city issued a concurrency reservation certificate for Gate Petroleum Co. to develop a 6,536-square-foot gas station and convenience store on 2.92 acres east along San Pablo Parkway, south of Crosswater Boulevard.
It will have 20 fueling positions.
Prosser Inc. is the civil engineer. The St. Johns River Water Management District issued a permit Oct. 6 for the project to landowner Estuary LLC.
