The city is reviewing a permit application for Southern Seafood and Chicken Kitchen to build-out in the former Nopalera Express restaurant at 8818 Atlantic Blvd. in the Regency area.

No contractor is listed for the $75,000 build-out of the 2,400-square-foot building.

Domino’s Pizza in Walmart

The city issued a permit Sept. 30 for Speed Construction Services Inc. to build out a 2,222-square-foot Domino’s at the 12100 Lem Turner Road Walmart at a cost of $129,797.

Popeyes to West Jacksonville

The city is reviewing civil engineering plans for the construction of a Popeyes restaurant on 0.81 acres at Rockola Road, west of Interstate 295 and Old Middleburg Road.

VRE Rockola LLC of New Orleans is the developer. Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer.

Grumpy’s opens in Middleburg

Grumpy’s Restaurant opened Oct. 5 at 1805 Blanding Blvd., suite 107, in Middleburg, its second location.
