Tractor Supply Co. wants to build a Jacksonville location in the Sandalwood area at northeast St. Johns Bluff Road South and Bahia Drive.
Lawyer Paul Harden applied for a zoning exception at the site on behalf of landowner Pozin Six Children LLC.
The exception is for permanent or restricted outside sale and service.
The vacant 8.27-acre site is south of Atlantic Boulevard.
Plans show a 19,097-square-foot Tractor Supply Co. store with a fenced outdoor display area.
Tractor Supply Co. has six area locations in Jacksonville at 9025 New Kings Road and in Orange Park, St. Augustine, Saint Johns, Macclenny and Yulee.
