Following the success of similar events in 2015, 2019 and 2020, the Clay, Duval and Nassau county clerks of courts will have another Operation Green Light beginning March 1.

The program allows people who have overdue traffic tickets or criminal fees to pay in full while avoiding the collections surcharge.

“Operation Green Light is a great chance for people to pay off what they owe and get back on the road,” said Duval County Clerk Jody Phillips in a news release.

“By waiving the collections surcharge, the Clerk’s Office hopes that anyone with outstanding traffic tickets or fines takes advantage of this opportunity.”

This year’s Operation Green Light is March 1-5. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, users must register online.

Fines must be paid in full. By Florida law, late fees will not be waived.

Duval County fines can be paid online by visiting epay.duvalclerk.com. Payment also can be submitted with a money order or certified/cashier’s check made out to the Duval County Clerk of Court and placed into the drop box at the entrance of the Duval County Courthouse at 501 W. Adams St.

To have the collections fee waived, full payment must be received by 5 p.m. March 5.

Visit duvalclerk.com/greenlight, clayclerk.com or nassauclerk.com for qualification details and the required registration form.
