Bank OZK renovating Mandarin office

The Little Rock, Arkansas, company bought two Jacksonville buildings from 121 Financial for conversion to its brand.

The city issued a permit Dec. 7 for iConstructors LLC of Tampa to renovate a Mandarin office building for Bank OZK at a construction cost of $830,907.

Bank OZK, based in Little Rock, Arkansas, bought the building at 12250 San Jose Blvd. from 121 Financial Credit Union for $2 million in a sale that closed Oct. 12, 2021.

The 2,668-square-foot office was built in 2001 on 1.47 acres.

Jacksonville-based 121 Financial relocated to 11112 San Jose Blvd, Unit 5.

The city also is reviewing a permit application for iConstructors to remodel office space for Bank OZK at 6072 Youngerman Circle at southwest Interstate 295 and Blanding Boulevard in Southwest Jacksonville.

The job cost for the 3,502-square-foot project is estimated at $350,000.

Bank OZK also bought that building from 121 Financial Credit Union. Bank OZK paid $2 million on Jan. 4 for the 3,757-square-foot office.

“Bank OZK recognizes Jacksonville as an important growth market and we look forward to enhancing our presence so we can provide more clients with best-in-class solutions to their banking needs,” Bank OZK said in a statement in January.

Bank OZK, formerly Bank of the Ozarks, now has Jacksonville locations at 10970 San Jose Blvd. and in Jacksonville Beach.

As of Sept. 30, Bank OZK had more than 240 offices in Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, California, New York and Mississippi. 

It has more than 40 offices in 28 Florida cities.
