Target updating two stores, parking lot at another

Target Corp. is renovating its Arlington and St. Johns Town Center stores.

Target plans a $2.53 million renovation of its Arlington location at 444 Monument Road. The city is reviewing a permit application.

The renovation of the 31-year-old store includes an update to interior areas and utilities.

The city issued a permit Jan. 21 for the $953,428 remodeling of the Target built in 2005 at  4567 River City Drive in Town Center. Groom Construction Co. Inc. of Salem, Massachusetts, is the contractor.

The city is reviewing plans for a $410,000 update of the Target parking lot at 13740 Beach Blvd.

It includes re-striping and site work along with a canopy over 12 of the drive-up re-striped curbside delivery designated stalls.
