The Hampton Inn at 1331 Prudential Drive on the Downtown Southbank sold Nov. 14 for $15.925 million.
The seller was Jacksonville Hotel Property Company LLC.
The buyer was a group of companies.
They comprise Fortune Investments L.L.C. of Charlotte, North Carolina (85%); J&A Hotel Investments LLC (12%); The Navroz F. Daju Revocable Trust (2%); and Hotel Development and Management Group LLC (1%).
The businesses other than Fortune are part of HDG Hotels of Ocala.
Built in 1998, the hotel sits on 1.64 acres. It has 118 rooms – 62 double and 56 single-occupancy.
It has a pool and a fitness center.
Jacksonville Hotel Property Company bought the hotel in September 2016 from by BlueShore Financial of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, for $16.9 million.
