Legislation authorizing appropriations for Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan’s Mayoral Task Force Programs and Initiatives was introduced Nov. 14 to City Council.
The proposed budget outlines more than $24 million for diverse projects throughout the city.
Categories include youth and families, building local businesses, addressing homelessness, beautifying Jacksonville, honoring military service members and veterans and health care.
The proposed projects and budget now will be considered by the Council’s Finance; Rules; and Neighborhoods, Community Services, Public Health and Safety committees.
