Fifth Third Bank opening three branches in St. Johns County

The Cincinnati-based bank is expanding to 14 locations in Northeast Florida.

Fifth Third Bank is expanding in Northeast Florida with the opening of three branches in St. Johns County.

The bank announced Feb. 1 that back-to-back grand openings are scheduled Feb. 6-8. 

They are:

• Bartram Market: 10 a.m. Feb. 6 at 180 Bartram Market Drive.

• Nocatee: 10 a.m. Feb. 7 at 52 Village Lake Drive, Ponte Vedra.

• Beachwalk: 10 a.m. Feb. 8 at 775 County Road 210 W.

As of Sept. 30, Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bancorp had $213 billion in assets and operated 1,073 full-service banking centers and 2,101 Fifth Third-branded ATMs throughout the Midwest and Southeast, according to its website, 53.com.

There are 175 locations in Florida, including nine in Jacksonville, one in Orange Park and one in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The three new branches are a part of the bank’s Southeast expansion plans, the release said. 

Fifth Third opened 26 locations in Florida in the past 24 months and plans for an additional 30 by the end of 2025, including several more in Northeast Florida.
