Burger King and several more food and retail tenants are joining The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd.

The city is reviewing a permit application for The Malle Co. Inc. of Saint Johns to build-out a 2,524-square-foot space in the upper-level food court for Burger King at a project cost of $269,000.

Burger King is being built-out next to Chick-fil-A.

Also coming soon near Burger King and Chick-fil-A are Terra Nossa Brazilian Grill and Baba’s Halal, according to signs at the mall. Ruby Thai, next to Chick-fil-A, is being remodeled.

Retailers coming soon include clothing stores The Copper Closet, on the upper level near Forever 21, and Designers Closet, on the lower level near Dillard’s.

The Copper Closet is described as an affordable women’s boutique where everything is $45 or less. It recently closed a store at St. Johns Town Center.

Designer's Closet is planned for The Avenues mall. The construction wall, shown in January, includes the logo for Psycho Bunny, a men’s apparel store.

Designers Closet is described as a modern urban streetwear store that sells clothing lines that cross over from premium, streetwear, urban wear and athletic wear.

The construction wall for Designers Closet includes the logo for Psycho Bunny, a men’s apparel store, but that retailer is not included on The Avenues website.

The Avenues is a regional shopping mall at Southside Boulevard and Philips Highway near Interstate 95.
