A 55-plus community is under construction in Green Cove Springs.

GreenPointe Developers is developing Edenbrooke at Hyland Trail by Lennar.

The community is aimed at active seniors with a residents-only amenity center, a resort-style pool and spa, a fitness center, boccie ball courts, billiards and pickleball courts. The neighborhood includes a dog park, pocket parks and trails for jogging and walking.

“Our goal at Hyland Trail is to create and offer a lifestyle for community residents and families in every phase of life,” said Gregg Kern, vice president of development, at GreenPointe Developers, in a news release.

“Edenbrooke at Hyland Trail by Lennar will offer an inspired, healthy and engaged lifestyle to the growing 55+ active-adult population in Clay County,” the release said.

There are nine floor plans under construction from 1,544 to 3,016 square feet with prices starting in the $300,000 range.

The neighborhood is along Sandridge Road adjacent to the Ronnie Van Zant Memorial Park.

In September, GreenPointe announced construction of the Hyland Trail subdivision. It is expected to have 1,500 single-family homes. Dream Finders and Pulte Homes are the primary builders.
