Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa completed a more than $40 million renovation of its guest accommodations, restaurants, meeting spaces and resort amenities.
According to a July 14 news release, the project that started in November 2025 includes updates to the Nassau County resort’s 401 guest rooms and suites, restaurants, spa and wellness facilities, public spaces, conference and event venues, golf amenities and art collections.
“With this renovation, we set out to create something truly special: a resort that reflects the spirit of Amelia Island in every detail,” Theo Schofield, area managing director at the resort, said in the release.
The renovated lobby and its adjacent lounge feature locally inspired artwork and ocean-facing gathering spaces.

Among the resort’s dining options are Nonna Mia, formerly known as Verandah, which the resort describes as a coastal Italian restaurant; Surfcaster, previously known as Oceanside, an oceanfront restaurant; and Palmetto Press Coffee & Provisions, a new market and café serving coffee, pastries and provisions.
Additional enhancements were made across the resort’s dining venues, including breakfast restaurant FloraBelle.
The renovated spa includes 19 upgraded treatment rooms, relaxation spaces, food and beverage service, and a private courtyard with hot tubs, a cold plunge, lounge seating and native landscaping.
The resort updated its family-focused amenities, including a renovated Camp Amelia with supervised activities and an enhanced Gamers Lounge featuring classic arcade games and Nintendo Switch consoles available to all guests.
The resort also highlighted golf improvements, including Little Sandy, a Beau Welling-designed short course and putting course, and the restoration of the Pete Dye-designed Oak Marsh golf course.

“We wanted guests to feel an immediate connection to Amelia Island from the moment they arrive,” Tonya Grine, vice president of interior design at Omni Hotels & Resorts, said in the release.
