A July 18 grand opening is set for McDonald’s in the Aldi-anchored Shores Village Plaza in St. Augustine.
The restaurant at 200 Blackford Way is owned and operated by Brent Church and will create 60 jobs, according to a news release. The retail plaza is off U.S. 1 south of the city.
Permits listed construction costs at $1.2 million for the 3,859-square-foot building. Southland Construction of Apopka was the contractor. The property is owned by Jacksonville-based Ash Properties, which also owns Shores Village Plaza.
The grand opening is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with the first 50 customers receiving McDonald’s items for a year redeemable only at the Blackford Way location.
A ribbon cutting will follow at noon, followed by games and activities.
