Advance Auto Parts Inc.’s expansion with a market hub at Beauclerc Village in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville is one of the company’s steps toward a larger market presence.
“This new store and market hub is part of Advance Auto Parts’ broader expansion plans, which include opening 40 to 45 new stores and 10 to 15 market hubs in 2026,” said Rich Ellis, senior manager of communications for the Raleigh, North Carolina-based retailer, in an email July 16.
Ellis said the 32,000-square-foot store should open in December.
“As a market hub, the new store serves as a centralized facility designed to improve parts availability and same-day fulfillment across a network of stores, enhancing same-day hard parts coverage for professional customers,” he said.
Advance Auto Parts Inc. says it is “a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider that serves both professional installer and do-it-yourself customers.”

Stores.advanceautoparts.com shows 37 stores in Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.
Landlord Saglo Companies LLC, based in Miami Lakes, features Advance Auto Parts on a Beauclerc Village brochure in space that was vacated by Big Lots.
Saglo owns the property through Beauclerc SDC LLC.
Beauclerc Village is at San Jose Boulevard and Old St. Augustine Road, north of Interstate 295 in the greater Mandarin area.
The city issued a permit July 15 for McCoy Construction Services Inc. of Fort White, near Gainesville, to renovate the retail space at 9718 Old St. Augustine Road at a project cost of almost $1.78 million.
Market hubs are several times larger than standard stores.
“The new location will enable the store to stock a large selection of parts to better serve DIY and Pro customers, as well as other nearby Advance locations. Additionally, the new location will deliver an improved customer experience as it offers good visibility, access and parking,” Ellis said.
Plans show that the majority of the space is used for parts storage, with about 2,400 square feet for a sales area.
Advance Auto Parts operated 35 market hubs and intended to open 60 by 2027, SupplyChainDive.com reported, quoting auto parts company President and CEO Shane O’Kelly.
Research shows that market hubs are about 35,000 square feet in size.
The company said in its annual report to the Securities and Exchange Commission that as of Jan. 3, its 4,066 Advance Auto Parts stores, including 255 hubs and 33 market hubs, averaged about 8,100 square feet.
Industry site SupplyChainDive.com said the retailer’s distribution centers act as replenishment nodes that feed market hubs, which sit closer to individual stores to help drive same-day parts availability.
“The market hubs are designed to increase our speed of service by placing approximately 75,000 to 85,000 SKUs closer to the customer, which increases same-day parts availability,” an unidentified spokesperson told SupplyChainDive.com.
“A market hub typically supports 60 to 90 stores within its radius.” SKU stands for stock-keeping unit, a term used in inventory control.
As of April 25, it operated 4,308 stores primarily within the United States, with additional locations in Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The company also served 797 independently owned Carquest-branded stores across those locations in addition to Mexico and various Caribbean islands.
CNN.com reported in November 2024 that Advance Auto Parts would close more than 700 locations to shore up the company’s finances.
Industry reports said the retailer, with about 5,000 stores, intended to close the locations by the end of 2025 while opening in some markets, including Florida.
