Four Jacksonville-based companies continue to be ranked in Fortune magazine’s annual list of 500 largest U.S. companies, and two others continue on the Fortune 1000 list.
GuideWell Mutual Holding Corp., parent company of health insurer Florida Blue, is the top Jacksonville-based company, ranking 140th with $32.9 billion in 2025 revenue.
The other three Fortune 500 companies on the magazine’s list released June 3 are Fidelity National Financial Inc., ranked 311th with $14.4 billion in revenue; CSX Corp., ranked 324th with $14.1 billion; and Fidelity National Information Services Inc., ranked 406th with $10.7 billion.
Financial technology company Fidelity National Information Services Inc., or FIS, was spun off from title insurer Fidelity National Financial in 2006.
The Fortune 500 list, which ranks companies by annual revenue, includes mostly public companies which file financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
GuideWell is mutually owned and does not file SEC reports. However, the list also includes mutual insurance companies which file financial data with state regulators.
Besides the Fortune 500 companies, trucking company Landstar System Inc. ranks 700th in the Fortune 1000 list with $4.8 billion in revenue and Dream Finders Homes Inc. ranks 748th with $4.3 billion.
In the overall Fortune 500 list, Amazon.com Inc. surpassed Walmart Inc. as the largest U.S. company based on 2025 revenue.
Amazon had $716.9 billion in 2025 while Walmart slipped to second place with $713.2 billion.
Walmart had been the top company in the Fortune 500 for 13 years.
The largest Florida company on the list is Lakeland-based Publix Super Markets Inc., ranked 72nd with $63.2 billion in revenue.
