Clark Bros Subs in Riverside will close June 20, the restaurant announced on Facebook.
The establishment opened in September 2023 at 2545 Riverside Ave., across the street from Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside hospital. Before then, the site had been a location for Atlanta-based franchise Poke Burri.
Clark Bros’ menu included a version of a cheesesteak sandwich called “The Duuuval” with rib-eye steak served on a bun from The French Pantry, topped with a choice of cheese, onions and peppers. It offered weekly specials such as a Chicago beef sandwich and a Food Coma sandwich with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
The post provided no reason for the closure.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I let you know Clarke Bros is closing on June 20th,” it read.
