Jacksonville-based Hanania Automotive Group has expanded its reach of dealerships into Nebraska with the purchase of Porsche Omaha, according to a May 15 news release.
W.G. Nielsen & Co., an investment banking firm in Denver, announced the acquisition after advising Woodhouse Auto Family on the sale.
The price and other details of the sale were not included in the release.
The Omaha dealership becomes Hanania’s second Porsche franchise. Woodhouse had owned it since 2005.
In the release, Hanania CEO Jack Hanania said he and his group “appreciate what Woodhouse has built over the last 20 years; it’s been a true pleasure working with them on this transaction.”
In April, Hanania Automotive Group announced it had expanded into South Carolina with the launch of North Shore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in the Myrtle Beach area.
That dealership is expected to open this year.
According to the May 15 release from Nielsen, Hanania operates 16 dealerships in Florida and one each in Nebraska and Pennsylvania. The South Carolina dealership would be its 19th.
Jack Hanania, who was born and raised in Jacksonville, went from selling cars in his early 20s to owning a dealership network employing more than 1,000 people and bringing in more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
The Daily Record recognized Hanania as a Top Entrepreneur Legend in 2025.
