Three years ago, Nader Zarou and his wife, Sylvia, bought a delicatessen in the middle of one of Downtown’s most vibrant blocks, Adams Street between Laura and Hogan streets.The Zarous are originally from Ramallah, Palestine. Their first venture after coming to America was a falafel stand in Ann Arbor, Mich., in the 1970s.
