Auld & White Constructors announced it has promoted Teresa “Terry” Durand-Stuebben to vice president of the Jacksonville-based commercial building firm.

In her new role, Durand-Stuebben will oversee the company’s business development and work acquisition team.

Durand-Stuebben will be the first woman to serve as a vice president at Auld & White and she will be the only female executive leader among Jacksonville’s top 20 commercial construction companies.

She formerly served as Auld & White’s director of business development.

The promotion follows a July announcement of a succession plan for Steve Auld and Ed White, who founded the company in 1986.

The firm intends to transition to a C-suite structure over a period of three years and already has promoted two other employees, Nathan Marty and Tim Conlan, to the positions of CEO and

COO.
