Second Bronx House Pizza coming to St. Johns County

The pizzeria is planned at Johns Creek Center on County Road 210 West in the former Papa Murphy’s space.

Florida-based pizza chain Bronx House Pizza is building out at John’s Creek Center in Saint Johns.

The county issued a permit May 3 for the $75,000 project at 2849 County Road 210 W., Suite 108.

Publix anchors the shopping center west of St. Johns Parkway where the 1,410-square-foot pizzeria is planned. 

It is in the former Papa Murphy’s Pizza space. 

Jacksonville-based Skyline Construction is the contractor. Doherty Sommers Architects Engineers Inc. of Jacksonville Beach is the architect.

Site plans show an occupancy of 24.

Bronx House Pizza is building out its second St. Johns County location at John’s Creek Center. The first opened in Nocatee.

According to its website, “Bronx House Pizza is an obsessively authentic, multi-time award-winning New York Pizzeria.”

It addition to pizza, the site says the menu is “diverse, yet family-friendly, serving all of your Italian/American favorites headlining with unique appetizers, salads, vegan and gluten-free choices.”

The menu includes hero sandwiches, calzones and stromboli. 

“The food supply chain is monitored meticulously, sourced locally and organic when possible,” the site says.  

Bronx House does not offer direct delivery but is available through DoorDash.

The site says it has seven locations in areas including Port Orange, Palm Coast and Lake Mary. 

A Nocatee location opened April 23.

The site says a third area location is planned in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Founders Bruno DiFabio and Michael Bennici opened the first Bronx House location in Ormond Beach in September 2019.
